NOTE: The Tenellia genus was raised by Costa in 1863. A rough translation of part of his description in Italian of the genus reads:
"Elongated body, finished forward by a large buccal veil, forming a flat lobe from each side" and also "...absolute lack of the lip tentacles...
"To quote from the Fionidae paper, A Radical Solution: The Phylogeny of the Nudibranch Family Fionidae, where Gosliner and others put all those Trinchesia etc into Tenellia:
"The original defining character of the genus Tenellia is the reduced or lack of oral tentacles,...."
So this is really an unusual find.
